Recently Ive been looking now just to see how much is it for a 2bed 1 or 2 bath older style home in the college park or downtown area. But I havent really seen much for rent at all, so I was wondering what months are usually when rental houses come available? Or the best time to start looking? Are nov-jan dead months?

Just keep looking. In Central Fla we do not have a specific time that rentals come on the market. It is very expensive to purchase a house here in Central Fla. compared to the wages that are earned, so many of the residents rent.
